About the Talk
Jennifer Verprauskus and Jenn Nawada will talk about how Climate Resilient Landscape Design can help properties as hurricanes and extreme weather events intensify. Aimed at designers, this lecture bridges residential-scale solutions with climate-resilient master planning, emphasizing stormwater, slopes, planting, and real-world construction. Students are empowered to see design not as drawings alone, but as a hands-on process—where design/build thinking turns landscapes into living infrastructure that performs under pressure.
*Planners can earn 1 AICP-CM credit for attending this talk, made possible by the American Planning Association Massachusetts Chapter. Learn more.
