The Tangshan Quarry Park in China, by LARP alumni Dong Zhang and Ziying Tang with Z+T Studio, won the Rosa Barba Casanovas International Landscape Prize 2023 — International Federation of Landscape Architects.

LARP Alumni Board

The "Waugh Alumni Board" at the UMass Department of Landscape Architecture & Regional Planning is a group of LARP alumni who organize professional development and networking opportunities for current students and alumni. Programs organized by the alumni board alumni mentorship workshops for LARP students, giving campaigns, and social gatherings for alumni in the Western Massachusetts and Boston area. The board founded the Waugh Alumni Scholarship Fund which raises money to provide professional development opportunities and educational resources for all LARP students.
