Sagar Hiware is an experienced urban planner and architectural professional with over five years of expertise in campus and facilities planning within higher education administration. Throughout his career, he has successfully led a range of projects from inception to completion, specializing in capital project programming, design, and management. His work spans from small-scale in-house renovations to large-scale redevelopment, retrofits, and adaptive reuse projects. Sagar is particularly skilled in conducting feasibility studies and crafting scenarios to enhance institutional flexibility and agility.

His primary focus is on aligning the built environment with organizational objectives through innovative planning and strategic development. With a background in architecture and advanced studies in Regional Planning at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he is currently completing his PhD, Sagar has also taught the First Year Seminar at UMass, introducing students to professional disciplines related to built environment stewardship. His research centers on how campus design impacts social inclusivity and economic connectedness, aiming to foster inclusive, efficient, sustainable, and user-centric environments.
