Grace Rennison

Grace Rennison (she/her) is a Master of Regional Planning candidate and Co-President of the UMass Amherst Planning Student Organization. Grace earned a B.A. in Political Science & Management from Bryant University and found her passion for municipal planning while interning with the Rhode Island State Internship Program as an undergraduate student. Since starting the MRP program, Grace has become interested in community development as it relates to public health. Her goal as a planner is to work toward dismantling exclusionary zoning and to build land-use tools to create healthier communities for all residents, where equitable opportunities will be in abundance.

Grace also has interests in hazard mitigation planning and public engagement. She intends to use these interests toward creating communities where a diverse population can thrive.
