Claudia is a Masters student in the Regional Planning program. After finishing her Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Community Development at UMass Amherst, she found a strong interest in climate planning and green infrastructure. She chose to continue her education in Regional Planning with a focus on Climate Resilience and Green Infrastructure. In Fall 2024, her studio project involved writing a section of the Comprehensive Climate Action Plan for the South Central Regional Council of Governments in the New Haven MSA. In addition, they created individual playbooks for the best GHG reduction strategies for each of the 27 towns in the region. This experience has given Claudia further opportunity to put her climate planning skills into practice!
