Caitlyn (Dittmeier) Lyons

Caitlyn (Dittmeier) Lyons is the Assistant Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications for UMass Amherst’s Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning (LARP). Caitlyn works closely with the department community, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS), and other university offices to lead communication initiatives and create engaging marketing content that highlights the mission and impact of LARP programs. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Promoting department news, events, and programs
• Managing the department's website, newsletter, email, and social media accounts
• Collaborating with the LARP Alumni Board to foster alumni engagement and organize fundraising initiatives
• Assisting the department Chair and program directors with recruitment and outreach efforts
• Providing communications support to SBS and other departments within the college
