Q: What are your personal writing goals at the moment?

Nadia: My personal goal is to read one short story collection (see above photo of my current stack) and write one short story per week!

Q: What can your potential students expect to gain from your writing lab if they enroll this winter?

Nadia: My potential students can look forward to leaving class with an adaptation of folklore, mythology, or fairy tale, and a greater understanding of the rules of adaptation and how to break them. 

Q: What’s Inspiring you right now?

Nadia: Current inspirations include shells, Starset (the band), and the family of red tail hawks in the tree in my front yard.
