Research Areas:
Prof. Majeed's research encompasses various aspects of linguistics, including the history of the evolution of the Persian language. She taught for twenty-two years in the Department of Persian Language and Literature at Kabul University and served as the head of the Dari department from 2021-2024.
She currently teaches Persian language classes for the Department of Judaic & Near Eastern Studies at UMass Amherst.
