Internships are an important part of the academic program in the UMass Journalism Department, giving students valuable professional experience. Our students are career-focused, success-driven and prepared for jobs at newspapers, magazines, television and radio stations, online media outlets, public relations firms, advertising companies, sports organizations, universities, non-profits and more.
