As UMass began a year of virtual learning, Professor Karen List wanted to find a way to uplift Journalism’s current students. She decided to write short sketches of Journalism alums, focusing on their jobs and how they feel about working in the field. Her Life After UMass Journalism profiles ran in the department’s newsletter each week, showing students what might be possible after graduation.
