"As a journalist, I reported on many of the issues that I now work on for FCNL. The policy knowledge I gained and the relationships I made as a reporter have served me very well in my new position. The writing, research, and communications skills I developed as a UMass Journalism student are highly valued by my organization. Honing these skills will make you a competitive candidate and an invaluable employee in whatever field you decide to pursue after UMass."
