Jill Carroll, class of 1999, started recruit training in August, 2008 in Virginia to become a firefighter and emergency medical technician. One of the men believed to be responsible for her kidnapping while reporting in Iraq in 2006 for the Christian Science Monitor was recently arrested in Baghdad. Read her story...

Kori Chambers, class of 2003, joined WPIX-TV in New York City in 2013 as the the morning co-anchor. He is now a co-anchor for the PIX11 News at 5.

Jack Chevalier, class of 1965, Entered UMass in 1953 and became part-time student after landing job at Springfield Daily News in 1956.  Finally graduated in 1962.  Helped Collegian go from twice-a-week to three times a week.  Celebrated Dodgers' first World Series title at Barselloti's in 1955.  Tried again in 1956 but they lost seventh game.  Wrote and edited sports for 48 years in Springfield, Baltimore, Philly and Wilmington, Del.   Wrote "Broad Street Bullies" about the team he nicknamed.  All-night cabbie now.

George Chidi, class of 2001, went on to get his MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Georgia Institute of Technology - Scheller College of Business in 2010. He is the founder of Neon Flag, a "competitive intelligence consultancy dedicated to hard-to-elicit primary market intelligence about its clients' competitors."

Matt Clark, class of 2006, who was on the UMass Amherst cross-country team and now works for Admissions, is running again, having overcome some leg injuries. He placed 10th at the Rhody 5K Road Race in a field of 701 runners and clocked a personal best time. Read more...
Sara Cody, class of 2010, is is the Communications Officer/Scientific Writer in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. She is married to fellow UMass Journalism alum Jeffrey R. Larnard (class of 2010).

Kevin Collins, class of 2009, is a production manager for Patriots.com Radio. After graduating in 2009, Kevin attended ESPN's Rookie Camp for new employees after landing a part-time job where he worked with statistics and the sports information department as well as ESPN.360. Kevin was also a producer at 98.5 The Sports Hub from 2009-2010.
