We are very proud to announce that the Director of our Middle Eastern Studies Program and History Department Professor Anne Broadbridge has been awarded the 2020 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA), an extremely competitive university-wide award honoring exemplary teaching at the highest institutional level. Administered by the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Distinguished Teaching Award is the only student-initiated award for teaching on campus. Nominees are reviewed by a panel of undergraduate students and a second committee of former DTA awardees before four awardees are selected from across all units on campus. Broadbridge received a monetary prize of and her name will be inscribed on the DTA memorial wall in the Integrative Learning Center.
