Undergraduate Opportunities
For Undergraduates
Our students’ experience is enriched by participating in a number of UMass-approved programs abroad. In particular, the Italian Studies program encourages advanced students to participate in the Bologna-Forlì Exchange Program.
This program has been specifically designed to perfectly integrate with our on-campus curriculum. The program offers different learning and formative opportunities to UMass Amherst students, from any academic background and at any stage of their degree.
Graduate Opportunities
After Graduation
Graduates who want to continue to work and learn in Italy after UMass can take advantage of the Lombardia Internship Program and spend up to eight months in the northern region surrounding Milan as paid English language teaching assistants in the local high schools that participate in the program.
