Use the eduroam network for most devices, including laptops, smartphones & tablets.
UMASS-DEVICES provides wireless for select streaming devices & gaming consoles.


🔐 Make sure you can access your account - Password Help

Before classes start, try logging in to university services with your UMass Amherst account, like Canvas or SPIRE, to make sure you remember your password.

If you've forgotten your NetID or password, use the Password & NetID Help link on the SPIRE login page. If you require additional assistance, contact the IT Service Desk.

Before classes start, please restart your computer and other devices to avoid any last-minute issues.
Faculty & Staff: Connect to the campus VPN to ensure all necessary updates are installed.

Plan ahead and contact the IT Service Desk with any questions or concerns.
