Advisors, would you like a quiet environment and personal assistance to learn how to read and write SPIRE Advising Notes? Consider our Advising Notes Help Sessions or trainings. The Help Sessions are not formal workshops, but an opportunity for anyone with SPIRE for Advisors access to get one-on-one assistance with reading and writing Advising Notes. The trainings are more formal to serve larger groups (up to twelve).

Advising Notes Help Sessions and trainings are intended for advisors who already have SPIRE for Advisor access and Advising Notes. If you do not have access already, please visit Access to SPIRE. Training for Advising Notes is included in the required training for new advisors who are approved for Advisor access to SPIRE.

There are two options for attending an Advising Notes Help Session or Training:

Scheduled Training
Check the SPIRE Training Schedule for currently scheduled trainings. Pre-registration is required, as directed on the schedule page. Training will be canceled unless we receive at least one pre-registration by 4 p.m. the day prior to the scheduled training date. Walk-ins are not allowed for scheduled trainings.
