Wolfram Mathematica is a software system with built-in libraries for several areas of technical computing that allow machine learning, statistics, symbolic computation, data manipulation, network analysis, time series analysis, NLP, optimization, plotting functions and various types of data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other programming languages.
Wolfram Mathematica is available to UMass Amherst community members with the listed relationships and/or reasons for need.

To obtain Wolfram Mathematica follow these steps:
Once you have downloaded Wolfram Alpha, run the program to install it. When prompted to activate the software click the "Single Sign On" button and sign in with your netID@umass.edu and password to activate your program. Detailed instructions for that process can be found by clicking this sentence.
