Note: OneNote notebooks may not export properly using these methods. On Windows, you can export your OneNote notebooks by opening the OneNote desktop application (follow step 1 of Using the OneDrive Client - Windows section below to install) and selecting file/export, using the notebook format. Then follow any of the methods below to upload your notebooks to your new account along with your other OneDrive files. Please contact User Services if you have any issues moving OneNote notebooks.

Simplest method - Using the OneDrive web interface (Windows, Mac OS, Linux):

This method requires that you have enough local storage space on your computer to download all of the files in your old OneDrive account. If you do not have enough storage space on your computer, please use one of the other methods on this page.

  1. Navigate to onedrive.live.com in your web browser and click Sign In in the upper right.
When prompted, enter your self-provisioned Microsoft Office 365 account email (your UMass email address). Click Next and enter your self-provisioned Microsoft Office 365 account password.
