Fall 2020 On-Campus Printing Options and Instructions - UPrint

On-campus printing is available for on-campus students only for the Fall 2020 semester. 

Contactless Color or Grayscale Printing by Appointment 

Color and grayscale printing is available by appointment via the print release station managed by library staff at Science and Engineering Library (SEL), located in the Lederle Graduate Research Center (LGRC) Lowrise. Printing costs at this location are currently being waived. 

Appointments can be made Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. When you arrive, please wear a mask and have your UCard ready. 

Schedule an Appointment

  1. Upload files to print and configure options (see instructions below). Do not hit the Print button.
  2. Schedule an appointment to print via
  3. At the time of your appointment, go to the Science and Engineering Library and tap your UCard on the print release station.
  4. Library staff will run the print job, and collect it from the printer for you.

Grayscale Printing (No Appointment Necessary)

Grayscale printing is available with no appointment in Campus Center room 162/175 and Commonwealth Honors College room 160. Printing costs at this location are currently being waived.

  1. Upload files to print and configure options (see instructions below). Do not hit the Print button yet.
  2. At the printer, log into UPrint.
  3. Select your print job and confirm your settings.
  4. Select the printer from the list of printers available in Select a Printer dropdown menu.
    • In Commonwealth Honors College, choose LIBR-LCBW1.

  5. Click the Print button. 
  6. Pick up your print job from the printer. Please use hand sanitizer before and after retrieving your prints



Upload Files & Configure Print Options

Note: The UPrint portal is only available for devices on the campus network. To access the UPrint portal via the campus network from off campus, connect to the university Virtual Private Network (VPN).

  1. In your web browser, navigate to
  2. Click Login with SSO and enter your NetID and password
  3. In the upper left of the web interface, click Upload to add a file. A window will open to let you select files. You can upload as many files as needed.
    Note: The maximum file size is 52.4mb. Supported formats are Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, images, text (CSV, RTF, & txt).
  4. To select an uploaded file, click the checkbox to the left of the file name in the files table.
    • With a file selected, printing options for that file are displayed in the bottom right corner.
    • Once you have chosen your printing options, you can click print preview to the right of the file name in the files table to preview it with those options.
      You can also see the total price of each file with your selected options at the right side of the files table.
