After you Run a Polling Session, the iClicker Classic Session Toolbar lets you display results charts of your students’ responses that can be viewed as a vertical bar chart, horizontal bar chart (multiple choice only), or histogram (numeric choice only).
Polling with the iClicker Classic Toolbar
- On the Session Toolbar, click Show/Hide Results () to show your students’ responses for the current question. The graph will display the percentage of total votes and number of votes for each answer choice.
- To designate a correct answer, click Answer at the top-left corner of the Results Chart. From the dropdown menu, click on the correct answer. Once you have designated a correct answer, the correct answer choice will turn green on the Results Chart. You may also click the letter (A, B, C, D, or E) on the answer axis to designate that answer correct.
- To change the chart type, click Type and select a chart type from the drop-down menu.
- To display the Results Chart from a question that came before or after the one you are currently viewing, click Previous or Next () (at top left).
- To compare two graphs side by side click Compare, then click Previous/Next to toggle between Results Charts.
Polling with the iClicker Classic Instructor Remote
- On the instructor remote, Show/Hide Results (B) to show your students’ responses for the current question. The graph will display the percentage of total votes and number of votes for each answer choice.
- To designate a correct answer, click Select Answer (E) until the correct answer is highlighted in green. Whichever answer you leave green will be recorded as the correct answer.
