Information for Instructors
In order to receive credit for iClicker participation, students will need to associate the unique serial number on the back of their iClicker remotes with their name and NetID by logging into Moodle and registering their remote’s serial number in the iClicker Block of one of their Moodle courses (the serial number will carry through all of their Moodle courses unless changed).
Important: Let your students know that registration should be done through Moodle using the iClicker block (once it has been added, see below). For instructions on how students can register their iClickers, see Register Your iClicker Remote in Moodle. For instructors, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for instructions. Do not use the iClicker online database registration through iClicker.com.
To add an iClicker block to your Moodle course page:
- Click Turn editing on (green pencil icon , top right).
- If your Navigation tray is collapsed, Select the Navigation tray toggle (hamburger menu , top left), and the Navigation tray will expand.
- Scroll down to locate Add a block in the bottom left of the tray.
- Click on Add a block, and select iClicker. An iClicker block will be created on your course homepage.
