Secure Online Storage Service Transition Announced - Box to Be Retired in 2021
Box Secure Online Storage, UMass Amherst’s legacy online file storage and sharing service, will be retired in 2021 due to vendor-driven changes, including a dramatic cost increase and the end of the unlimited storage offering.
Box remains available for the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year, and IT teams will work with faculty and staff to prepare to smoothly transition to another online storage platform during this time.
