WinCDEmu is a free program for Windows computers that creates a virtual CD/DVD drive on your hard drive. ISO, BIN, or CCD image files can be mounted on this drive virtually and behave as if they were inserted from a CD/DVD drive.
UMass Amherst IT recommends you use WinCDEmu when installing Windows software acquired through the Adobe Campus Agreement, Microsoft Campus Agreement, or Azure Dev Tools for Teaching (formerly Microsoft Imagine or Dreamspark) programs.
