Information Security Policy Quickstart Guide for Service Administrators

People may have one or more roles defined in the Information Security Policy. A Service Administrator (e.g., application administrator, system administrator or network administrator), as defined in the Information Security Policy, is an individual with principal responsibility for the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of an information technology system.

A Service Administrator is responsible for ensuring the information technology systems and resources within their purview are capable of achieving the security objectives for the institutional information and research data they process, transmit, and store, through the development and execution of applicable Service Security Plans.
