Administrative Long Distance Authorization Codes [1]
A long distance authorization code allows faculty and staff members access to international long distance dialing while on campus. An authorization code will be provided at the discretion of the individual's department.
Note: Authorization codes are associated with an individual, not a particular telephone.
To obtain the required Authorization Code Action Form to process the request, please do one of the following:
- Contact your Network Communications Representative (NetCom Rep). If you don't know who your NetCom Rep is, you can find out on our NetCom Rep page [2].
- You can also call the NetCom Customer Service office at 545-2171.
- Fill out a Long Distance Authorization Code form, available from our online forms page [3].
Contact your NetCom Rep for your department's policy regarding reimbursement for personal calls. If unauthorized use of a long distance code is suspected contact the Network Communications Systems Office at 545-5737 (5-5737 on-campus) immediately.
