Microsoft stream is a cloud hosted video platform, available as part of the Microsoft Office 365 platform. Stream allows users to interact with and view uploaded and live video content. Users with elevated permissions can upload video content and create channels & groups. Stream offers granular controls for setting audience permissions and for designing how those audiences can interact with video content, offering such features as comments, forms, and automatically created closed captions. Videos uploaded to Stream can be shared via URL, email, or embedded in a webpage. To view video content users will need to authenticate with their UMass Amherst credentials.
