Network Availability Issues Resolved - Tues, 7/18

July 18, 2023

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) has resolved an issue which caused network unavailability in some areas of campus earlier today, Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Network availability issues began at around 1:20 p.m., and were resolved by 2 p.m.

On Wednesday, July 19th, 2023, from 7 to 9 a.m., UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) will perform network reconfiguration in the Lincoln Campus Center and its Garage.

Moodle 4.1 Upgrade - Moodle Unavailable Thurs., July 13, 2023

On Thursday, July 13, 2023, UMass Amherst Moodle in the Cloud will be upgraded to Moodle 4.1 to meet and maintain security and accessibility requirements from our cloud-hosting service. Moodle 4.1 comes with a significantly updated interface and navigation system.

Update Tues., 6/27 5 p.m. - Issues Resolved

Microsoft has confirmed that issues affecting some Microsoft 365 services on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 have been resolved. Members of the campus community should now be able to access services as usual.
