SPIRE Enrollment Issues Reported - Thurs., 11/16

Update Thurs., 11/16, 1:30 p.m.:

Planned maintenance has been scheduled for tonight, Thursday, 11/16 from 6 to 8 p.m. to address issues reported earlier.

  • SPIRE will remain available during the maintenance period, but the Search function will not be available.
  • If you are experiencing difficulties enrolling in classes, try using the Schedule Builder feature while we work to resolve these issues.

As of 9:00 AM on Thursday, November 16, 2023, UMass Information Technology (UMass IT) is investigating reports of SPIRE issues that are currently impacting some student's ability to enroll in classes.

If you are experiencing difficulties enrolling in classes, it is recommended that you use the Schedule Builder feature in SPIRE while we work to resolve these issues. 

Updates will be posted as soon as they become available.
