Update Tues., 6/27 5 p.m. - Issues Resolved

Microsoft has confirmed that issues affecting some Microsoft 365 services on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 have been resolved. Members of the campus community should now be able to access services as usual.

Update Tues., 6/27 4:30 p.m.:

Update: Microsoft has identified the cause of issues affecting some Microsoft 365 services on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, and is in the process of applying a fix. 

Members of the campus community should see incremental improvement in ability to access Microsoft 365 services as the fix continues to roll out. Microsoft reports a significant decrease in issues. UMass Amherst Information Technology will continue to monitor progress on the resolution of this issue.

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) is investigating issues affecting some Microsoft 365 Services on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

  • Some members of the campus community may experience issues logging into and accessing Outlook email. 
  • This is a vendor-driven issue, which Microsoft is investigating.
