Scheduled Maintenance: Delays in Password Changes - Wed., 8/31, 5 - 6 p.m.

August 29, 2016

Password changes requested between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 will be temporarily delayed while UMass Amherst Information Technology completes system maintenance. If you change your NetID password or update your personal information  in SPIRE between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on August 31, these changes will take effect only after 6:00 p.m. During the maintenance window, please use your old password to access IT services (e.g., UMail, Apps at UMass Amherst, Moodle, Blackboard Learn). Thank you for your patience. 

 

UPDATE: Email Delivery Delays - Mon., 8/15

August 17, 2016, Noon: All outbound email has been delivered and there are currently no delays or restrictions on message delivery to UMass and non-UMass email addresses.

Starting at 8:00 a.m. this morning (Monday, August 15, 2016), we are experiencing email delivery delays affecting outgoing messages to some external email providers. Messages from UMass Amherst email accounts sent to select non-UMass email services may be temporarily delayed in the next 48 hours.

The IT Online Help Request system and Live Chat will be unavailable on Wednesday, August 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. as part of a scheduled maintenance window.
