New HRDirect Login Experience, New Login Links Now Available

An updated HR Direct login system has been rolled out to the university community. The new login experience integrates with modern secure login systems already in use at the university, and provides a more consistent, secure, and streamlined login process.

Update: Many IT services including SPIRE, email, campus internet connectivity (eduroam and wired access), and Virtual Private Network (VPN) will be unavailable from Tuesday, July 26 at 6 p.m. to Wednesday, July 27 at 6 a.m. while UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) performs important maintenance. 

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. This maintenance is necessary to ensure smooth operation of university services during the fall semester.

Emergency Maintenance: Comcast Connections to UMass Networks Temporarily Impacted - Thurs., 7/7

Members of the University community using Comcast Internet will not be able to connect to UMass networks (e.g., via virtual private network or VPN) for approximately 30 minutes at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2022 while UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) completes emergency maintenance. This work is required by the university's Internet Service Provider and only affects Comcast customers.

Microsoft OneDrive Security: Default Sharing Settings Updated - Tue., 7/5
