RESOLVED: eduroam Issues Reported - Weds., 10/26

The wireless issues reported earlier have been resolved.

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) is investigating reports of wireless issues impacting eduroam in various areas of campus. More information will be posted once it is available. Please contact the IT Service Desk at it@umass.edu or 413-545-9400. 

NVIVO Licensing Updates - Tue., 10/25

October 25, 2022

On Wednesday, October 26, 2022, the university's licensing agreement with NVIVO, the qualitative data analysis software, is set to expire. We are actively working with the vendor on a transition plan and updates will be provided as soon as possible. 

Planned Maintenance: Wired Connectivity in Some Areas of Campus – Tues., 10/25 & Thurs., 10/27

On Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, and Thursday, October 27th, 2022, from 6-8 AM, wired connectivity in some parts of campus may be temporarily interrupted while UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) performs network maintenance. Wireless connectivity will not be affected.

While minimal impact is expected, we recommend that members of the campus community who work in the impacted buildings listed below:
