Planned Maintenance: Network Connectivity Unavailable in Select Areas of Campus - Mon., 11/13, 6-7am

Network connectivity will be briefly unavailable in select areas of campus on Monday, November 13, 2023 between 6 and 7 a.m. as UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) teams perform planned maintenance. Areas of campus affected include:

UPDATED: Canvas Issues Reported - Thurs., 11/9

November 9, 2023Update, 11/9: 

As of 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 9th, issues affecting a small number of Canvas Assignments, specifically those assigned to an individual student or section, with missing grade information are currently being investigated

RESOLVED: Network Issues Reported - Thurs., 11/9

As of 12:00 p.m., on November 9, 2023, previously reported network connectivity issues have been resolved. 

RESOLVED: SPIRE Issues Reported - Mon., 11/6

November 6, 2023Update:

As of 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023, issues of slow load times on SPIRE have been resolved. 

RESOLVED: Intermittent SPIRE Connection Issues - Thurs., 10/26

UPDATE: As of 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, UMass Amherst Information Technology (UMass IT) is reporting the intermittent connection issues with SPIRE have been fixed.

As of 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023, UMass IT is reporting and investigating intermittent connection issues with SPIRE, where some users may be unable to log into the student information system and others are redirected to another login window.
