  4. Under Security, choose one of the three options. For an overview of what it's like to join a meeting with each of these options, see our YouTube playlist.
    • Passcode. Participants will be prompted for a password to join the meeting.
    • Waiting Room. Participants will be placed in a waiting room before the meeting host can approve them to enter the meeting.
    • Require authentication to join. Participants will need to log in to Zoom or Zoom at UMass Amherst to join your meetings.
  5. Recurring and previously scheduled meetings with no security setting will be assigned a waiting room by default after May 16. If a waiting room does not work for your recurring or previously scheduled meetings, choose another security setting.
