Microsoft OneDrive Quota Limit Errors – Weds., September 1, 2021

Microsoft OneDrive at UMass Amherst offers 2 terabytes of secure online file storage (with storage limit increases available by request) for students, faculty, and staff at no additional cost. 

During a recent update, Microsoft inadvertently reverted UMass Amherst OneDrive accounts to the default 1 terabyte storage limit. Members of the campus community who have more than 1 terabyte of files in OneDrive are affected.

Our technical teams are working to resolve issues impacting SPIRE. Members of the campus community may not be able to log in to SPIRE, may experience slowness or an unpredictable user experience.

Intermittent SPIRE Issues Reported - Thurs., 8/26

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) is investigating reports of intermittent SPIRE issues. Some members of the campus community report frequent logouts that they did not initiate.
