UPDATE: SPIRE Issues Reported - Mon., 1/10

Update Monday, 1/10 1:00 p.m.

We have taken steps to resolve the SPIRE issues reported earlier today. Service may be restored for some members of the campus community, and we are continuing to monitor. Thank you for your patience.

Further SPIRE availability issues have been reported Monday, January 10. We are working to resolve these issues with urgency.

6:45 p.m.

SPIRE is back online, but members of the campus community may continue to experience slowness and other performance issues. We are working on addressing theses issues with urgency. 



5:00 p.m.

Our teams have identified several possible causes for the issues reported earlier and continue to work on addressing them. 



2:00 p.m.

SPIRE will be unavailable for approximately one hour while our technical teams troubleshoot the issues reported earlier. Updates will be posted in this space  by 5 p.m.



10:50 a.m.:

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) is investigating reports of slowness and unexpected logouts impacting SPIRE. Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve these issues.
