CORRECTION: 'Your UMass Amherst Email Activation Code' Email for New Students

Earlier today, new students may have received a message with the subject line “Your UMass Amherst Email Activation Code,” which included an activation code and urged you to activate your IT account in SPIRE.

This message was intended for new students who have not yet activated their IT account.  

UPDATE: Login Issues for Some IT Services - Weekend Maintenance Starting Fri., 4/23

Following maintenance performed by UMass Amherst Information Technology on Saturday, April 24, we believe that issues logging in to some IT services for some members of the campus community have been resolved. 

Zoom Update Sun., April 25 - Re-Authorize Google Add-In

April 21, 2021

On Sunday, April 25, Zoom will update their Google Workspace add-in.

The add-in, which allows you to schedule a Zoom meeting from within Gmail or in the Google Sidebar in other apps, will need to be re-authorized after the update

SPIRE, the university's student records system, will be unavailable from 8 p.m. on Friday, April 23 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, while UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) performs planned maintenance.
