The Box transition timeline has been extended by another two weeks to July 26, 2021.
This extension is necessary to ensure that you and your colleagues can fully access your Box content in OneDrive once the transition is finalized. We continue to work with our vendor partners to resolve some issues with the sharing features in the OneDrive web app.
Box to OneDrive Transition: Updated Dates
Friday, July 9, 2021, 9 p.m.
Review period ends. Box accounts become read-only. You can still download and preview Box files.
Friday, July 9, 2021, 9 p.m. - Monday, July 12, 2021, 6 a.m.
Transition to OneDrive is finalized. Do not edit your BoxData folder in OneDrive to allow for the final sync.
Monday, July 12, 2021, 6 a.m.
Post-transition period starts. You can no longer make changes to your Box files. You can edit or move content from the BoxData folder in OneDrive.
Monday, July 26, 2021
Box is retired. Box accounts will transition to Box Lite to maintain collaborations with other institutions.

- Go to https://umass-my.sharepoint.com and log in with your firstname.lastname@example.org and password to access your UMass Amherst OneDrive.
- In the navigation pane at left, under OneDrive, click Shared.
- If you get an error message (e.g., Something went wrong), please fill out this form. You do not need to fill out this form if you have no files on the Shared screen or you do not see an error message.
