Microsoft Office 365: Check Your Junk Email for Miscategorized Items

On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, staring at approximately 3:50 p.m., some messages sent to Microsoft Office 365 email accounts may have been incorrectly miscategorized as spam and routed to the Junk Email folder. Microsoft is working to process any incorrectly delivered email but expects this process to take an extended period of time. 

Members of the campus community using Microsoft Office 365 email are urged to check their Junk Email/Spam folders for messages that may have been miscategorized this afternoon. We also recommend that you:

Legacy Moodle is now available. If you continue to experience issues with UMass Amherst's learning management platforms, please contact it@umass.edu or 413-545-9400.

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) is investigating reports that students and instructors cannot access Legacy Moodle, one of the university's learning management systems. Updates will be provided as soon as they become available.

CORRECTION: 'Your UMass Amherst Email Activation Code' Email for New Students

Earlier today, new students may have received a message with the subject line “Your UMass Amherst Email Activation Code,” which included an activation code and urged you to activate your IT account in SPIRE.

This message was intended for new students who have not yet activated their IT account.
