Two-Step Login Required for VPN Access Starting Thurs., 9/9

In response to information security threats detected in the past week, two-step login (a.k.a. multi-factor authentication) will be required to access the university’s virtual private network (VPN) service starting, Thursday, September 9, 2021. VPN is available to UMass Amherst faculty, staff, researchers, and some students. 

Unified Communications: Campus Phone System to Be Upgraded in 2022

Over the course of the next year, the campus phone system will be upgraded to a new unified communications environment that meets our campus communication and collaboration needs and further accelerates UMass Amherst’s digital transformation.  The project is expected to be completed by the end of August 2022.
