UPDATE: VPN Connectivity Issues - Wed., 4/15

UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) has implemented several changes that are expected to address the VPN issues reported earlier.

  • You may still experience connectivity issues through mid-day today while various changes propagate throughout the global Internet infrastructure.
  • If you cannot connect to our VPN services, you may consider restarting your device.
  • Please report issues to IT User Services at 413-545-TECH (8324) or it@umass.edu.

Early on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, virtual private network (VPN) services were disrupted as a result of a hardware issue. UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) teams are working to restore VPN services as rapidly as possible.
