Emergency Maintenance: SPIRE Issues - Tue., 3/22, Noon - 1 p.m.

March 22, 2022

SPIRE, the university's student records system, will undergo emergency maintenance between noon and 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2022 to address the issues reported earlier this week. Members of the campus community using SPIRE during the maintenance window may experience intermittent time-outs and interrupted sessions.

Planned Maintenance: SPIRE Unavailable - Fri., 3/18 - Sun., 3/20

SPIRE, the university's student records system, will be unavailable from noon on Friday, March 18 through 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, while UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) performs planned maintenance. If you are experiencing issues with SPIRE outside of the maintenance window, please contact IT User Services at 413-545-TECH (8324) or it@umass.edu.

Next Generation Phone Service to Replace Campus Phones in 2022

A new, next generation phone service will replace the aging campus phone system in 2022. The new service, powered by Microsoft Teams, provides a superior user experience and is strategically aligned with campus targets for efficiency and effectiveness and delivery of IT services.
 

RESOLVED: Azure Virtual Desktop Unavailable – Weds., 2/23

Azure Virtual Desktop is now available following an extended outage. Some issues may persist as UMass Amherst IT continues to work with the vendor on addressing the root cause.
