IMPLEMENTED: Remote Access Software Security Changes - Weds., 01/10/24January 10, 2024As of 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) reports work has been completed to implement additional security controls impacting remote access to university computers and servers, ultimately requiring users who access Secure Shell Protocol (SSH/SCP) to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) from off-campus, barring any exemptions approved by UMass Information Security. |
