Starting earlier this week, Microsoft started blocking messages sent from UMass Amherst email accounts to Microsoft email addresses (e.g., @outlook.com, @live.com, @msn.com, @hotmail.com).
- If you sent emails to a Microsoft email address in the past week, your messages may be delayed or blocked.
- If you forward your UMass Amherst email to a Microsoft email address, your incoming messages from the past week may be delayed or not delivered at all.
- Messages to email lists containing Microsoft email addresses may also be affected.
UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) has been working with Microsoft to lift the block as quickly as possible and to ensure that email delivery to Microsoft email services is restored.
