Flex Classroom Technology Guides & Support

UMass Amherst Flex

After extensive pilots, UMass is upgrading classrooms with new technologies designed to be easy to use, accommodate various teaching strategies, and provide immersive learning experiences for students regardless of their mode of participation. There are currently 30 rooms with this upgraded technology, with more planned to be added during the Winter and Summer 2024 terms.

There are 4 configurations for new and updated classrooms, and they follow a general pattern based on the size and seating available in the room. Please refer to the following information and associated support articles to best assist you with different UMass classroom technologies.
