UMail Access for Mobile Devices & Email Software

UMail will be retired in early 2020 as it has reached end-of-life and will no longer be supported. Faculty and staff using UMail will receive additional information as migrations to Google Mail and Microsoft Exchange continue.

Mobile devices and email software (Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or Apple Mail) can be used to access UMail or Apps at UMass Amherst Mail.

Find out where you can obtain email clients from our Supported Software & Downloads pages. Once you've installed a client to your computer, you will need your NetID and password to configure the software for UMail or look up email addresses in the UMass Amherst Directory (LDAP).
