Computer Classrooms

IT Computer Classrooms are teaching spaces for instructors using computer technology in their courses. The UMass Amherst community is welcome to use our Computer Classrooms when classes are not in session.

Multimedia Equipment Loan & Support

Classroom Technology Services (CTS) provides equipment delivery, technical support, and consultation services for faculty and staff using classrooms and auditoriums on campus.

Assistive Technologies

The Assistive Technologies Center (ATC) offers technology services to any member of the university community with an ADA-defined disability.

Video Conferencing

Echo360 Lecture Capture

Echo360 lecture capture allows instructors to record course content in classrooms with Echo360 hardware, or on their desktop and/or laptop computers using Echo360's Universal Capture software. Students access recordings through their Moodle or Blackboard courses.

Video Conferencing

IT's video conferencing facilities allow real-time exchange of voice, video, and data with other facilities around the world.

Audience Response System

Audience Response Systems (ARS) allow students to use hand-held devices, also known as "clickers,"  to answer questions or submit solutions to problems during class. IT supports the iClicker system.
