On September 30, 2022, Funding Fridays participants heard from two expert resource persons from UMass on identifying potential funders for their research. Marco Monoc, Executive Director of Foundation Relations and Loren Walker, Director of the Office of Research Development at UMass provided an overview of systems that help faculty find federal or foundation funding, as well as suggestions for how to write competitive proposals aimed at different types of funders.
