October 25, 2019 - Project Management: Project management is an essential part of being a PI, yet few of us are trained in this crucial skill. This hands-on, interactive workshop will expose PIs to the basic principles of project management and introduce faculty to modern project management toolkits.

November 15, 2019 - Personnel Management: Managing personnel--including students, staff, and colleagues--can be a challenging part of the job for PIs. In this workshop, PIs will use case studies and self-discovery to hone effective personnel management skills.

February 14, 2020 - Effective Collaborations: Scholarly work and research has become increasingly collaborative. Effective teamwork and collaboration is essential for projects to succeed. In this workshop, a panel of faculty will discuss various mechanisms for working in effective collaborative teams.

April 10, 2020 - Technical Tools for Collaborations: Research and scholarship collaborations can be enhanced through effective communication and setting expectations. This hands-on workshop will review several administrative and technical tools that are useful for managing collaborations, including memoranda of understanding, conflict resolution, and succession plans for research teams.
