, Professor of Sociology will give his observations in evaluating Graduate Research Fellowship applications over the past decade. James has been a panelist for the GRF competitions in Sociology, Psychology, and Engineering, as well as research grant panels for the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and Department of Defense.
Ember Skye Kanelee
is a graduate student in the Department of Sociology and NSF Fellowship recipient. Embers' research interests include: sports, gendered inequality, sexuality, race, class, social movements and intersectionality.
is the Research Business Manager Liaison at ISSR. Sarah supports students in navigating grant applications; getting students from the conceptual stage to submitting the proposal by deadline.
Heidi Bauer-Clapp, Heidi Bauer-Clapp is Coordinator of Grants and Fellowships in the Graduate School's Office of Professional Development. Heidi supports grad students in the process of applying for external funding. Heidi is also a Ph.D. candidate in anthropology whose research focuses on the challenges and opportunities communities face when remembering painful aspects of the past.
